I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil, and have pursued many creative endeavors throughout my life. For 20 years I sold my hand-made jewelry at art fairs under the name Yowza! Bead Designs - most of pieces included my own silver work, handmade glass beads, and my own flair for combining textures and colors.

Many years ago I took some community pottery classes, but it was only a few years ago I picked up working in clay again; and boom! The ideas took on a life of their own. I started with fairy garden items, then it morphed into unique terrarium accessories, and soon it became full-fledged mugs, bowls, and other ware. I decided to take a sabbatical from jewelry making and try my hand at selling my pottery and ceramic art. Yowza! Bead Designs became Yowza! Artistry; the name no longer specific towards any medium (jewelry, clay, or otherwise).
